If you have some spare time on the subway, check out this excellent interview of UNIX/Linux guru Jon "Maddog" Hall in conversation with Google's Chris DiBona and TWIT's Leo LaPorte on FLOSS Weekly.

During the interview, Maddog talks at length about the DECUS (Digital Equipment Computer User Society) software sharing system in the 1960's and 1970's. Search for DECUS on Scribd, and you'll find a treasure trove of vintage materials.
