Bipartisan Health Care Fix
Two senators announced on Tuesday a tentative, bipartisan deal to stabilize the health insurance markets. Republican Lamar Alexander and Democrat Patty Murray have worked out a short-term fix to fund insurance subsidies for low-income Americans for the next two years. Trump Travel Ban Blocked

2017 Man Booker Prize
Acclaimed short story author George Saunders won the prestigious literary award on Tuesday for his first full-length novel, Lincoln in the Bardo. The judging panel described his book — a surreal tale of the afterlife set in a cemetery where Abraham Lincoln mourns his dead son — as “utterly original” and “witty, intelligent, and deeply moving.” Saunders was previously awarded a MacArthur Genius grant in 2006. ISIS Capital Falls
U.S.-backed forces have taken back control of Raqqa, Syria, the de facto capital of the Islamic State.
